Q: If I have rented from Compass Sports before, do I still need to make a reservation?
A: Yes, this will ensure you have rentals reserved, information is updated and the equipment is ready for your arrival.
Q: Is it possible to have my equipment fitted and ready before my arrival or planned date of skiing?
A: Yes. Be sure to include the exact start date that you will be skiing and you will not be charged for the day you come to for fittings.
Q: Will I be charged for all the days I reserved, even if I didn't ski certain days?
A: If you are skiing separate days and do not want to be charged for the days you are not skiing, we will return the equipment each day and you will need to be seated with a fitter again to re rent equipment and re-sign waivers. We recommend renting for the full length of stay in order to guarantee the same equipment throughout your trip, and avoid additional rental and waiver time.
Q: Is it possible to make changes to my rental reservation?
A: Yes. Prior to skiing you will be seated with a fitter who will confirm your rental details, and make any needed changes.
Q: We have our own boots, but need to rent skis. Do we still fill out the reservation?
A: Yes. Even though you are bringing your own boots, fill out the entire reservation and once you arrive we can adjust anything that needs to be changed.
Q: I would like to bring my own ski boots, is there an option to rent only skis?
A: Yes. When completing your reservation, select the full package. When you arrive to the hotel, you may bring your personal boots with you to the fitting. The needed pricing adjustments will be made at that time.
